This is both a photography group and a writing group, for the posting of stories taking place at night, in a contemporary urban setting, and of photos taken after dusk and before dawn in such a setting, when the sky, but for artificial lighting, would be completely black. Any magical realism should be done with a light touch, and not verge into science fiction. Fiction, narrative poetry, and nonfictional journal entries are all welcome. You can follow both this group on Twitter, which serves as a collective update notification service for this group and those connected to it.  Photographs taken when there is even the faintest hint of daylight should go here, to a companion group created for that. This is not an adult group, so don't add any artistic nudes to the pool, but it does come with a 18+ companion group on which more mature, "R rated" material may be submitted. Bickering, if it does occur, is to be taken to another group, created for that sort of nonsense. If you're wondering who I am, my profile can be found here.
