Contest Winner: Rarity and Sweetie Belle Shadowbox

The winner of the written portion of our contest was who submitted an entry based off a short animation found here (fav.me/d5bgz34). The rough idea was to have Rarity teaching Sweetie Belle how to sew.

There was nothing that was particularly difficult about this piece. It just had quite a few background elements to tackle which lead to some tricky layering. We wanted to make sure that their expressions came across perfectly and were very pleased with the result. We thought it might be cute if Rarity was helping Sweetie Bell re-do her CMC cape. This is definitely one that we love because we think it's a great representation of their relationship as sisters.

This one will be available for commission and around the con circuit.
