We wanted to make a new set for the Mane 6 and came up with a wet mane concept. We thought it would be a lot of fun to craft their hair a little differently and this gave us a perfect opportunity to do that.
Twilight Sparkle was the character we had the most trouble with because it was hard to figure out why such a sensible pony would be out in the rain. Then we realized that she would be studying something and everything came together! Of course, we figured she'd be more concerned about her notes than herself which is why she has an umbrella for them! Her magic is crafted out of glitter and she is made for a 12x12 frame.
*Sadly, this one didn't photograph too well. It's very blue in the picture but not so much in real life.
