Description
This is my 1 year old Niece modelling one of the dresses I made her for Christmas this year.
Have to be honest, I chose a pretty simplistic pattern for the dress because I figured she'd grow out of it pretty quickly so why pay out for a super fancy dress pattern she'll only wear a few times?
I used courderoy for the main body of the dress as I made it to be a Winter dress rather than a Summer one. The hearts are made with a contrasting, red and blue tartan fabric (Which I also made a matching dress out of the create a little set). I also used the tartan to cover some blank buttons to make some that matched in with the colour scheme.
I'm really pleased she fits into it actually, the dress was made a size 2 so I was really worried it would be too big... seems my worrying was all for naught.
