I was so busy getting ready for Otakuthon I forgot to post this here! Please give the costume construction notes (link above) a read because this was quite the project - making a $32,000 cape for less than $200.
I entered the masquerade at Montreal ComicCon for the first time this year with this costume and won 2 awards.
