Your name

A name,
one name that's all it takes.
It could be anyone but to me its always meant more,
cause to see your name,
it rips me apart.
Were you happy at the party,
did you have a fun time with her?
To see you smiling it almost kills me inside
but just your name on my dash,
thats all it takes,
one name to make the memories all come flooding back

I can't write poetry,
I can't make out the words,
It reminds me of you, each time I log in,
each time I sing a tune,
its your eyes I picture,
the ones that used to watch me.
Whenever I was near

And I don't mean to be desperate.
Or clingy, or needy.
But you left me when I needed you
and you meant something to me.
But she had your attention.
Your kisses. Your laughs.
All it took was one party,
it all came down to that.
