Hello everyone. I recently graduated from the Art Institute of Tampa, and now hold a BFA in Game Art and Design. Woohoo! I've updated my portfolio site recently, be sure to check it out: http://www.shiniku.com So although I am out of school, I am still very busy. I've taken an online class over at CG Workshops and am learning a lot. I've also picked up a few contract jobs that I really enjoy. You might notice a lack of updates for a little while - I'll still be around, but my paid work is taking most of my time, and I can't show it off (yet!). I am available for contract/freelance work and  full-time employment.

Okay, so it's been awhile since I've updated this thing. About a year and a half. A lot has changed! You might have noticed that my submissions have shifted to more and more 3d, game-art related things. I've found my specialization and what I want to be - a character artist for video games. So, I apologize to the people on my watch list who were watching me for comic art, or digital paintings or something and really don't care about game art. I'll still do things like that on the side, but for the most part I need to put my time in on character art and that's what I'll be doing the most of. Hiya folks. My last journal was old. Hopefully I'll get in the habit of updating more often. Anyway, lately I've been working toward presenting myself more as an artist, and increasing my web-presence. Anyway, recently cool teacher/web comic artist ~kms007 (https://www.deviantart.com/kms007) showed the class a cool blog site called posterous that seems pretty groovy, so I've started an art blog. The point of the blog is to show my studies, works in progress, and sketches, so I'll probably be updating there more than here, and only update here when I actually have some finished work to post.
