My preferred photo subjects are usually at opposite ends of the focal spectrum; Macro and Astrophotography.
Though I enjoy taking landscapes & candid portrait as well.

I've used a Canon 35mm film cam for many years. Then I moved to an advanced digital P&S, the Fuji S602Z.
Now I'm back into SLR arenas with 2 Canon bodies, 5 lenses so far and a host of other equipment to enable me to do some incredible (if I do say so myself) new photo work.

As for other interests, wellllll.....
LOL! I have unconventional views of many things from areas of religion and spirituality to the sciences and health. I have disagreements with a considerable amount of what is presented to the general public by the mainstream sciences. It's not the little stuff either, I mean from some of basics to the more exotics of astrophysics.
I find "The Big Bang Theory" as unreal as the characters on the sitcom that shares it's name.
I'm no fan of the BB's add-on, the RedShift Expansion pack either.
I don't support the idea of nuclear stars & suns...
To me the idea of singularities is full of blackholios...
and pulsars and/or neutron stars won't hold together either.

IMHO, there are reasonable alternate scientific explanations for all of them and more.
I am quite willing to discuss any of them with those who are curious - so long as it's in a open & friendly manner.
