:bulletred: The Contestants
:bulletred: Round 1
:bulletred: Round 2

March 25, 2012 - Auditions are now open.

July 15, 2012 - Round 1 begins.
August 15, 2012 - Round 2 begins

Dec. 20th Update: I apologize for the delay in the results.  The judges and I have been hit with finals and the holiday season to explain the delay.  Hoping to have critiques up soonish but updating to show I have not forgotten.

Dec. 2nd Update: Round 3.5 has come to a close.  Please wait while the judges and I write up the critiques and results.

Thank you everyone for your patience while we tried to figure out what to do next.  Due to a double-forfeit for one match-up in Round 3, the format has been changed slightly so the Drop does not suddenly end.  Instead, Round 3.5 will come into play.

What does this mean?  Mieruru and Daco will not continue while LCom and Ombre continue to the finals.  Round 3 will not yet be judged.  Instead, it will be judged together with Round 3.5.  Please cheer on our finalists as they continue to fight onward.

The cavernous depths continue to shake, causing the walls around you to crumble.  The creatures that dwell sense the danger and your doom.  The time is now.  The gem is ready to depart and hide away.  Will you claim your prize before it disappears or will you be left in the darkness?

The Drop OCT - R3 - 01 by LCom & The Drop OCT - R3.5 - P01 by LCom :iconlcom::iconversusplz::iconombre-de-clause: The drop round 3 part 1 by Ombre-de-clause

The deadline is SUNDAY DECEMBER 2ND, 2012 at 11:59 PM HST

:bulletblack: The purpose of this round is to give our contestants time to bring their stories to a close.
:bulletblack: Contestants are not required to re-fight each other in this round but may do so if needed.
:bulletblack: A short extension is available if either contestant wishes to use it.  This has been used.

Aren't you being a wee bit unreasonable here?
I mean okay, you have a very valid point and I can see why you wouldn't accept the final results in the last round. But in the end you are still in the tournament. You were given a chance and now you're throwing it away.
Don't you think its a bit unfair for everyone else who didn't get that chance?
I'm sure all of them including me and my partner (if we had lost) would have accepted and used that opportunity!
So why are you doing this?

Either way, you have your reasons and you're in your whole right to not submit anything and forget about this OCT...
But I would strongly suggest you to reconsider and try to look past this recent events and just make the best of the chances you have been given.

I think he's being reasonable, if the judges are going to let stuff like that slide, it's hard to take them seriously and I can understand why he would rather not be judges by judges who are hard to take seriously!

I hope you will reconsider, but if not, I wish you luck in your future activities. I'm sorry that you feel so harshly about the results. If you wish I could go into further detail about my own choice and reasons if that would help make the decision more clear and perhaps more reasonable, although I can't speak for any other judges than myself.

I'd appreciate that.

Ah, sorry, there were some minor math errors. I forgot I made some corrections and didn't account for them later on.

In the art category, you got a 26, not a 28, and in the writing, I meant to put your total as 24, not 25. Nevertheless, the total should be correct.

HEY, sorry about having to forfeit, life things got in the way and that took priority over finishing. THAT being said, i'd like to offer FREE CRIT to anyone who wants it. I know my audition was basically really stupid, but I'd like to think i've studied up on storytelling enough to give some good advice on how to improve. Just note me if you're interested.

Don't worry about it. C: If there's one thing we understand, it's that Life comes before OCT's-

We're happy you're still offering to help out in the community, crits are still an important part of creative process for an artist. I hope people take you up on your offer!
