Relic Knights One Shot Fan Art

So I've taken a bit of a break from my recent spat of designing concept characters for the Relic Knights universe to do some good old-fashioned fan art based on an existing Relic Knight character - One Shot.

When drawing I always start with a photograph and build upon it to create the look and posing that I want. So, in this instance, I used an image of the original model of her mech, and posed various images of models around it to work out what worked best. With this particular piece I couldn't quite decide on the pose I preferred, so I figured I'd just do a composite image using all three poses I developed.

As for the background, I still hate doing them, so yet again it's a photo which has been filtered until I came up with a blend of effects which suited the piece.
