The tall, skinny redhead is Amora, Helrynega's best friend. I'm sure you can glean what she's all about by her body language and choice of clothing. Lacking any mental filters, she tends to speak her mind, no matter how lewd or rude she might come across as. The shorter, younger redhead is Amora's perpetually dirt-covered sister Loammie. She's obsessed with growing food out of the ground, particularly root-based veggies like potatoes. Her dream is to feed the world with these magical plants. And the dude is Wilhelm, a goofy poet/bard who's family helps maintain the "inner seal" on the Palace, much like Helrynega's family maintains the "outer seal" (which is far more involved than the simple inner seal and requires journeying all across the province of Wiccumshire). He'll recite his poetry and sing his songs to anyone willing to listen (which is usually only Helrynega).
The dialogue was added at the last minute, to fill up space and squeeze in a little more characterization, so I didn't calibrate the positions of the balloons just right, so it basically reads from right to left like a manga or something. Also, I hope I didn't go overboard on the Britishisms...
Anyway, I'm sure you're probably just waiting for me to start uploading the actual comic, so I'll get to work on that as soon as I can (been kinda busy with "real" world stuff lately, but stay tuned!)

Loammie looks also pretty fun
by the way, do you think you would ever add soundtracks to some of your images or characters?
in any case, take your time with deciding it
This is a sweet array of interesting characters to help define Helrynega as a complete person. She looks quite pretty in her white dress, simple yet stylish in a nice way. It really makes her figure stand out, versus her adventuring gear. Even cuter is how she looks enamored with Wilhelm as he offers to share his verse with her. It's cool that the keepers of both seals share the same symbol (except for inverse colors) so that there's little reason for divisiveness between the groups. (Not that I don't already have some half-baked fan theories about what's going to happen. ) Wilhelm looks strong, handsome, well-meaning, and eager to be appreciated.
I can see Amora fancying herself as a stylish free-spirited woman who "just tells it like it is," perhaps with some bit of cleverness to spice it up a bit. Judging by her form and the way she carries herself, I'd guess she has a more mentally-fatiguing job yet can be tough when she needs to be.
Loammie is a cutiepie, and what a cute name for someone who's so very smitten with all things earthy. She seems excitable but well focused and controlled. I love how she's twiddling her toes as she contains her enthusiasm. My only concern is that if you go too British with her accent then people are going to wonder how she got it living in a small, close-knit village. (Yes, I can think of a few reasonable answers, but it'll be fun to see what route you choose.)
Thanks for another look into your story. Best of luck as you continue to develop it.
Also, the weirder the better, IMO.
