GUIDELINES:

No photography please, this is a group meant for traditional and digital bird art only! We are the only avian group on deviantART that does not accept photos.

Only submit your best work! This means 'serious' and finished drawings and paintings, no sketches or doodles will be accepted. Also, drawings on lined paper will automatically be declined. Please make sure that your art is displayed at its best - cropped and documented in good lighting. Remember: This is a lounge where you display your best work, and not just everything you make that's bird-related.

However, if you have a WIP that you are very proud of, or need feedback on to finish, please submit that to our WIP folder! Only the best art is accepted because we all know how tedious checking hundreds of deviations daily from your groups can be, and the more incredible the art in this group is, the easier that will be

This group is meant to display the beauty of our birds, so please keep the 'humanization' (mental and physical) of birds out of your submissions into this group. (Please accept what we as admins choose to judge what is too human to fit into this group, it may not correspond to what you as submitter thinks would be acceptable or not.)

We would only like to see birds in this group. No griffins/hybrids/whatever will be accepted into this group.

Please choose the right folder for your submission: Wet Media, Dry Media, Digital, Artisan Crafts, Tutorials or Works in Progress!

Submission limit is 5 deviations a week.

If your submission is waiting to be approved by an admin, please do not submit it twice to try and get it approved faster! We always try to review it as soon as we can but we will always get to it, so please don't clog up our notifications.

SO: Do not be discouraged if your work is not accepted! Not having your work accepted does not mean it's bad! It either means it wasn't relevant to the group, or that it didn't meet the requirements stated above to be accepted.
