Krystan: Scarred post-mission

A young half-elf who stands a little below average height, Krys doesn't stand out at first glance for much more than the coppery hue of his hair. Those with keen eyes however might note the knife scars down his right cheek and the eerie appearance of his red left eye.

It takes keener eyes still to note the fine Lichtenburg scars that run down the left side of his face - hidden by his hair; generally this is the only part of the scarring visible above the collar of the high-necked shirts he generally favours.

The scarring extends down the side of his neck, across the left shoulder, and all down his left arm to his fingertips; marks of a very powerful arcane backlash. He generally wears gloves on his hands to hide the traces. His shoulder and left arm are further marked with keloid scarring from vertical slashes. There is more Lichtenberg scarring across his torso that is more recent - legacy of a frontal blast of Void lightning sustained in a recent mission with the Ashen Company.

The most unnerving part of his features is the alien appearance of his left eye; he was taken captive by Nerubians during the fall of Dalaran and spent 4 months being experimented on in Azj-Kahet - resulting in his blind left eye being implanted with a Nerubian eye graft. Whilst it has restored his vision in that eye, it has had other less-pleasant side effects, and he generally wears an enchanted red glass monocle to hide its alien appearance and to mitigate some of the effects.

Despite his scars and the affliction of the Nerubian eye and its effects on his  eyesight, he seems a quietly cheerful fellow. He can usually be found engaged in his telemancy work portalling large cargo shipments in and out of the Ashen base; in his spare time he enjoys sketching.

He still maintains clean D-6 and G-16 portal licences, registered in Stormwind.
