Meteor Motor Car #1556 - Unbuilt

Among the last of my commitments are the 2025 Arlington Heights specialty cars. All four offerings fit the bill and I decided to snag 6 total.

This is Meteor Motor Car #1556, a USRA single sheath boxcar. The Meteor motor car was a former auto company based outta Piquia, OH, before being bought out by the Wayne corporation in '54. Despite this boxcar being set in the 1930s, its technically this company that produced the '59 Miller-Meteor Hearse, best known as the basis for Ecto-1 from Ghostbusters.

In due time this car will be assembled and super-detailed with air hoses, backdated K-Brakes and the like.
