Whatever Gods may be
Hear at once, harken to me!
Shall I make my presence known
To those before me, and those that owe

From deep abyss so I speak
Never will my fire die
Upon this rock shall I lie
Truth shall spend the sorrow meek

With fervor wrath I shall seek
My throne forever, in it’s seat
Will rest my soul, on stone eternal
With mem’ry’s thoughts I do partake

From Ancient ground I am sired
Radiant and immemorial  the path I walk
From birch and branch and simple stock
I am as the peace so clear

There is nothing left to fear
A poem I wrote in response to  William Ernest Henley 's poem, Invictus.

Invictus has become my favorite poem; a testament to all who have suffered and pulled through. My hats off to this gentlemen and to all who have conquered their trials.
