Its a simple quests, a fools errand. To chart the way, and see it true; to chart the course for other sails. Still, a simple life, a simple gloom, to give way to others, who dare adventure forth. Been there they have, seen much, and heard tales; the cartographers of old. The ones who started the quest, the journey to see beyond the lens of their view. Who dared ask what else there was, and were rewarded with priceless jewels, jewels of knowledge. Knowing there was more, with best of intentions, they plotted it down, with ink and fervor, so others may bask in their wisdom and experience. All the while growing old, and remembering where they had been, and what they had lost. All so the youth of age and go forth, and continue the great quest of human exploration.
