Personality: Nimue has grown from a brave filly to a showy, bold mare that is ready to take on any threat or challenge. She is dominant, self-confident and even somewhat arrogant. She is also very friendly however, and more of a nurturer than a violent being – she just protects what is hers with a great strength and determination.

Taking after her sire, Nimue is very particular about her personal space. She seems to think it disrespectful to go near her if she has indicated she doesn’t like that. You are not allowed to touch her before she has touched you, not unless you already know each other well. If you do, she will brood mightily.

Nimue is rather difficult under saddle. She has a short temper, and is not very forgiving of the rider’s mistakes. Nimue is often very energetic and tries to pull and prance even when not asked to. If she is told to behave, she usually behaves even worse. When handled from the ground she is much the same, difficult and snappy but bears no ill will.

With other horses she has more manners than with humans. She enjoys company and is still very playful. She gets along better with stallions than mares, for some reason, but Nimue is not usually one to start fights – she is, however, more than capable of ending them with a sharp kick.
