hey everyone (who checks journals!)

SO I felt like i owe you guys a bit of an update on my general status, what's going on, where I'm going with this, how active I can be, etc!! So here's a journal where I should (hopefully) cover that!

I am in year 12, for new zealand this means I am in NCEA Level 2 which is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT as it grants UE if you acheive with good grades (UE = University Entrance) WHICH is obviously vital for the future in gettin accepted into Uni and getting the jobs that you want, to be qualified for most jobs you need level 2 with achievement at the very least but getting an endorsement would basically guarantee you what you want (endorsements for this year are SUPER hard to get though!! Last year only about 13 students of a hundred and twenty something (i think) last year got level 2 endorsed with excellence) so as you can tell it's kinda crunch time for me! I'm hoping for a merit endorsement though I know that's really wishful thinking. So I wasn't certain what to expect but it's been more full on than I thought and that's just going to keep increasing and pressure is gonna rise super rapidly. For now I'm kinda chilling (and procrastinating) BUT I CAN'T DO THAT MUCH LONGER or else I'll really fall behind!! Basically, school is gonna have to be priority, as much as I wish it wasnt ;; still love you guys and I'll produce as much as I can. 

I'm still a little confused on my direction in art thus far- I've been kind of embracing a more cartoony style //which is kinda obvious// although i still want to maintain a more realistic sense of anatomy with that lil cartoon twist. I'm not really sure xD I can tell you guys I'm for certain itching to broaden from just cats, and i've been practising humans quite a bit recently, WHICH HAS BEEN REALLY FUN TBH. SO there's that and I'm also hoping to do a lot more fanart, like a lot more. Dont get me wrong i lovelovelove drawing gifts for others and drawing my characters for me but I really want to show fanart appreciation for the things I love! This doesnt mean gifts will stop, I just really wanna draw fanart xDD hopefully that's fine with you guys (although i know only like 2 people made it this far, kudos to you, i love u, if you want i can draw you a little gift -w- (if i have time lol no promises)). 

With that, i guess it's gonna be kinda obvious that im gonna be rather inactive, but i can doodle in my free time and hopefully learn how to organise doodle dumps (IF YOU WANT TO SEE THOSE i cant do a poll sadly bc my core is gone (speaking of that i still really gotta draw a gift for lee for being so kind aahhh ;A)!! 

ADITIONALLY, A CUTIE'S BORTH IS VERY SOON! @/Luckoon's bday is on April 2nd, please draw for her!! Since i cant really do any big gifts this year ;;; it'd mean the world if we could all contribute to making her day special <333

Finally, just gonna say i love you and i couldve never made it this far without any of you. dA has made me feel amazing time and time again and I know for my past self this would be a dream come true, to be here with a following like this and a sweet audience like you. super lucky to have yall. <3 thanks for sticking with me all this time!!
