SW: Map of Tunisia by ThanyTony SW: Map of Tunisia by ThanyTony
When I started getting interested in story, Carthage was a civilization I was very interested in, so working on this nation makes me happy, it is pretty interesting, also...I didn't know there was a place ACTUALLY called Tatoine...interesting.

I like that flag! Did you design some of the flags or do these already exist in SW lore?

The vast majority I had to design, since only the main European countries that are featured in the series and Fuso have flags cannonically.
In the case of Tunisia, I had to make it, due to the lack of Islam and the extended time for the Western Roman Empire existance, I made it an elephant instead for it's conections to Carthage and Hannibal.

Impressive! It would be really cool if Shimada Fumikane himself endorsed your work and made it canon.
That's kind of how the SW universe was created, with fan contributions in mind. Just look at the Africa Witches manga that started as a Doujin but then got officially recognized and published!

Islam doesn't exist in this world, the Neuroi performed a series of attacks on the Arabian peninsula in 660, masscring everyone effectively stopping the rise of Islam before it became a thing, so the arabs never made it that far so it is mostly Berber people in North Africa.

Cool isn't it?
