Breath players can manipulate the flow of wind. Breath players are a little naïve and tend to be able to find light in nearly all situations. They also tend to be pushovers, and fond of flight. For some reason, they also tend to be fond of entertainment often considered cheesy and bad, like John with Con Air, Tavros with Pupa Pan, and Rufioh with anime. They seem to attract Light players with their innocence and bright nature when it goes a little darker. All seem incapable of true, undying, never-ending hate. They are just too forgiving to ever truly be able to hold a grudge.

The Blood aspect, like some others, has not yet been shown to have a literal or clear-cut meaning. Common theories include affinity, affection and unity in general, such as the word is used in "blood brothers". Karkat, the Knight of Blood, had a reputation among his friends for sympathy, and he was the only one of the trolls in Homestuck to never be on either side of a murder in the alpha timeline (not counting when Jack kills his dream self).
