Zeron Elements: Earth by Thaldir Zeron Elements: Earth by Thaldir
Zeron are aliens of my own devising, they are a symbiotic life-form composed of an humanoid host and an alien 'seed', are featurless (the helmet and armor are part of their bodies) and among themselves speak by way of color vibration.

'Earth' is part of a series in progress featuring Zeron as symbols for the classical four elements. I realize that she may be too curvy for today's standards of beauty, but in my opinion 'Earth' does need hips. :)

That's very sexy and amazing. So how do seed and host come together?

Did you make a Fire? I looked through your gallery but couldn't find it. Or maybe this series of characters had no Fire?

Not yet...
Sorry. I'm planning to finish the series painting Fire, but finding the free time to do it is more and more difficult.

Really nice rendering, I really love the look of the armor on her body. I do think that the helmet doesn't belong, everything looks very organic on your alien but the front part of the helmet.

Well, the helmet is the single original point in their look (as in 'there from the beginning')then they evolved and are still evolving, I have to work more on integrating their look then, thanks for pointing that out.

I love the lighting, and I'm sooooo happy you portrayed earth as earth-colored, not plant-colored, like so many people do these days.

Gorgeous piece! And she looks so pretty.

On a random note, I love all the textures you have in there.

All hail curves. I have them and I prefer to fill out and hold up my clothes, so paint away on curvy humanoids for all you can! This series is really beautiful!

this is so incredible, i really love that this series (Zeron Elements) have a back story, it make them all the more interesting

i think the whole body armour embedded in their skin is a great idea

by the way i dont think there is such thing as too curvy lol

Lol! We seem to have the same opinion.
Recently I kept seeing paintings from different artists beautfully done but that, I thought, shared a common problem: the head slightly too big for the body. Then I realized the problem was that the models were extremely thin, so much so that it resulted in that effect...

i know what you mean, i have in the past done my images too skinny, which actually doesnt have the same effect as a well proportioned body

Oo she is beautiful. I absolutely love her.
I do, however, think her front foot is a little off by being too small? Unless I am being picky :D

I think it's a matter of position, with the other foot being shown frontal, but I'll definitely keep this in mind if I re-touch her (and for my next works, of course, it's no good to pick a 'correct' pose if something in it looks wrong)
