Goretober 2023 Day 9: Frosty The Milk Man

Desmond and Issy are one of the few married couples in The Neighborhood, especially that their friends could say is 100% definitely a lifetime commitment that will stick and never be broken.

Well.. what if it did break?..

The couple has been together so long that they have such a close bond, not to mention their kids Nathan and Kelly definitely are physical evidence of that. At least until one winter day..

Issy was just coming home after walking the kids to school and stopping at the new grocery store, when she noticed something off, something more than obvious sitting in the driveway.

Issy was confused and.. her mind has her suspicious of her husband. She walked up to the window and looked out into the living room, only to find her husband was with another woman, watching TV with the person on the couch. Immediately, Issy's heart sank and she didn't bother to confront her husband.

Issy walked out into the woods, the snow crunching under her paws and the falling snow melting as it landed on her head and ears, crying her eyes out, crying uncontrollably, crying until she could no longer cry...

Even with her thick fur, Issy still eventually started falling victim to the cold weather, having to prop herself against a tree, due to frostbite around her hands and feet. Even then, all she could think of was what her husband had done and just continued crying, crying until her tears were freezing on her face...

Issy eventually started to slowly pass away in the harsh, cold weather, due to the frostbite and hypothermia.

In a way of mercy, mother nature put Issy out of her misery, as two sharp icicles penetrated the top of Issy's skull, ending her suffering once and for all..
