Well this is another product of boredom and my love for the Philips CD-i. In this case its a depiction of my Philips CD-i 220. Make from scrath in Photoshop and by constantly runniing up and down stairs to and form my room to the study.

Might add an the anaglyph version to the gallery if I get bored enough... and if I can find my 3D Specs to test it out and ajust it as neccesary.

Product is (c) of Philips.

Thanks for the fave and well in my experience lots of people say that based on a whole two or three titles on the system and the YouTubePoop videos yet hardly any of them have ever used one or actually even played the games, and for something that wasn't built to be a console but as a multimedia unit for video, music and the internet it did a bloody good attempt.

A modern equivalent would be calling a DVD player the worst console ever, because the few games on that aren't exactly brilliant now are they.

well, you name a few good CD-I titles

wait. DVD players have GAMES? not just extras on DVD movies, but actual GAMES?

My top picks: Escape from Cyber City, Dragons Lair (1&2), 7th Guest, Space Ace, Lords of the Rising Sun, Voyeur, and Burn Cycle.

The MicroMachines game and Mad Dog McCree weren't too bad either.

And yes there are non bonus content full DVD games about, is even a version of Dragons Lair on it.

I really like how the system looks better in this picture than its actual appearance.

Mah Boi! This system is what all true warriors strive! 8O

Worst as a game system yet, an interesting design you made. The only Philips I have is a Philips Magnavox that always glitchy on the video port when I try to hook a Gamecube up or a PC. That thing fades away and see specks. Mah Boi.

Personally I think its been given a lot more flack than it deserved, all because of what 3 or 4 bad games on the system, yes they wernet great but hey i actualyl enjoyed them :P and it did ahve a few good titles like Escape form Cyber City, Lords of the Rising Sun and Burn Cycle to name a few.

And its actually absed on my still working 220 player. Anywho thanks for the comment.

And usually seeing some bad games turned into memes like when CD-i took some Nintendo games and make it look so bad that some of the scenes turned into popular YouTube Poop memes that never get deleted by the YouTube staff. While other bad games like the difficult game Spelunker becomes a 2CH meme and an unfinished game, Cheetahmen II became a Nico Nico Douga meme.

Ah well they didnt actually make the games look that bad they just hired the artists who did the tv series for the animations on said games, AS the actual in game graphics, which are never shown on them videos, are actually very good, and well the 3rd Zelda title isn't as popular in that respect as it was all done in Live Action.
