The Autobot base was in a state of dire distress. After the battle on Cybertron the Autobots were horrified to learn that the Decepticons had located their base. Greatly outnumbered Optimus had everyone escape through the space bridge though in different locations. He had hoped that, by doing this, it would make it a lot harder for the Decepticons to find them. Fowler, who had been at the base at the time, decided to try and distract the Cons in hopes it would give the Autobots more time. Bumblebee was the first to leave, taking Raf with him.
