Transformers OC: Phantom's Profile,Designation: Phantom of Altihex.Alias: Weirdo; Strange bot; Creep (by Sagitta); Clean freak (by Balthazar); The detective; The eccentric type (by Arcee); Old friend (by Optimus); Mr Phantom (Daniel Witwicky); Playmate (Jevil); Buddy (Corvus).Relatives:Brakewise (sire, offline).Cinderways (carrier, offline).Armorfire (brother).Star-Night (sister-in-law).Dustwheels (nephew)Rattrap (great-nephew).Arcee (bondmate).Salvo (son).Arcas (daughter).Scytale (son).Age: 40 years old (in human terms).Species: Cybertronian.Status: Online.Alt. Mode: Cybertronian car (formerly); Pontiac Firebird Trans AM (currently).Faction: Autobots.Function: Tactician; Detective.Weapons: Nucleon charge rifle, sword, pistol, smoke bomb, grenade.Voice Actor (G1): Adam West (US); Marcio Roberto Seixas (BR).Love Interest: Arcee.Personality: Phantom is a great, skilled detective. He shows to have a very sharp optic to seeing things and incredible deduction skills, and a tendency to be resourceful in a fight. Phantom finds ways to use harmless-looking tools as deadly weapons in a fight.Despite clearly getting attention due to his deduction and cunningness, Phantom isn't arrogant; he doesn't brag about it. He's fully aware of his vulnerability, and everyone dies all the same, specially in his profession; even more during the civil war.Phantom is straightforward, at the point of being blunt sometimes, which may often come out as impolite. He rather go straight to the point instead of going in circles. Phantom is not always good at comforting others, coming out as forced, and has trouble to trust others, often making sure to know if they have malicious intention or not. It took him a while to trust Orion Pax, now Optimus Prime, but he came around and holds great respect for him. With Megatron, however, the mech never felt at ease around him, even before he showed his true colors, implying Phantom to have a good intuition. The detective is eccentric, having a great loathing towards dirt. He hates messes and dirt, with a passion, always making sure to keep his things perfectly organized and clean, and it also reflects on his appearence. His armor is perfectly clean, consequently polished as well, however, he's not like Knock Out or Tracks, whose well kept armor is more for vanity than hygiene. He complains when, either him or his weapons, get covered by someone's Energon in the battlefield, feeling the urge to clean it right away, yet having enough self control to know it's not the right time to do it.Phantom has a strong sense of morality, which is one of the main reasons why he grew to dislike the Decepticons. He considers their cause a hypocritical one, defending so loudly an apparent equality while trying to take away another's free will and making them obey by force, no different from the dictators from past eons in Cybertron history. The massacre they caused on Altihex city-state, his homeland, made him act more unmercifully towards the Decepticons, showing no hesitation to attack and/or kill one of them, if deemed necessary. In addition, despite his cold and harsh exterior, he shows a much loyal and selfless side to those he cares for, willing to help teammates and civilians.Phantom's demeanor is rather calm and collected. He obviously hates getting dirty, but he doesn't freak out about it. Despite hating the Decepticons, and having a rather brutal fighting style, he doesn't lose his calm in the heat of battle. After all, losing composure is a weakness, which will give advantage to the enemy, and Phantom won't accept it. He's very calculative, using his deductive skills to analyze his opponent and find their weakness. Phantom is even capable of predicting his enemy's next move, if he watches them long enough.Backstory: Phantom was raised in a middle class, wealthy family. His sire, Brakewise, was an important psychiatrist; while his carrier, Cinderways, was a business owner. He had an older brother, named Armorfire. Phantom was very close to his sire, as he was more understanding towards his son's eccentric personality. To describe his carrier, Phantom often says "good businessfemme, not much as a carrier." Armorfire was the opposite of Phantom, which often led them to disagree in many things.Phantom wasn't popular with social groups in school, particularly due to his blunt and sometimes rude vocabulary. Nobody dared to mess with him though, last time someone did, the kid was sent to the infirmary, and Phantom nearly got suspended. Despite that, he had excellent grades. Teachers praised his intelligence, but didn't like how he went too far with his critique towards their teaching methods. However he was able make a few friends, here and there, like Corvus. When time to college was coming, Brakewise convinced Phantom to study Law, thus maybe he could become a lawyer or a judge, as he seemed to have a very strong sense of morality. Phantom wasn't too keen on the idea at first, but thought it could be a good source of knowledge. After a few years of study, things started going downhill when Cinderways was murdered during an attempt of mugging. Brakewise suffered greatly due to it, falling into depression. His mental illness started to affect his fisic, and Phantom and Armorfire's sire started to get ill more frequently. The two brothers tried to help him, but, in the end, it was useless, as Brakewise passed away as well.Phantom didn't get the chance to finish his major after this. He abandoned college, and decided to get a job. Phantom started to work in the police department as a cop, before showing more interest on the investigative job, and soon becoming an investigator. However, Phantom became more interested on being a private detective, as he saw a bit more of freedom on such field. During this time, he had distanced himself from Armorfire, not like they were very close to begin with.Phantom's reputation became more prominent, as he got well known as solved each case. Not too long after, Corvus, his old childhood friend from the school years, became his partner after reuniting. They were best friends, and Corvus could handle his antics and cleaning tendencies... Most of time.Phantom had met Orion Pax while investigating a kidnapping case. He and Corvus went to the port to question the dock-workers, since the victim was one of their coworkers. Phantom thought Orion acted too naively, and kept a close optic on him, but later concluded he was innocent. After solving the case and helping to bring the victim to safety, Orion went to thank him and Corvus. The three started to interact more often and later becoming friends.Phantom's career got into a decline after a particular case, however. He got involved into a murder case, and due to the prominent praises, Phantom was arrogant at this point.A femme went after Phantom, wanting to pay him to prove her bondmate's innocence from a crime he didn't commit and catch the real culprit. Phantom allowed his arrogance to blind his sharp intuition and better judgment, and, when least expected, the culprit, Jevil, lead him into a trap. He not only lost all the evidence he had gathered so far, but also Corvus himself, who was killed during the investigation. Phantom went back to zero, unable to prove the mech's innocence.Seeing his friend in distress, Orion offered himself to be his new partner to help him in the case. Phantom didn't accept it at first, still, Orion was so persistent the detective agreed in the end. However, the blue and green mech didn't allow him to go to the field yet, as he was still inexperienced, thus Orion helped from afar. In the end, Phantom captured the real serial killer, getting him in prison. After this, Phantom's spark became colder, although he was back on his pedes thanks to Orion and even his brother, who still had a restrained relationship with. Armorfire met him in order to give some comfort after knowing what happened through the news. Despite the awkward reunion, the detective was far too emotionally exhausted to reject it. He promised to himself he wouldn't do the same mistake again, reminded he wasn't doing his job only for praise and publicity, but to bring justice and pay the bills. The publicity was just a meaningless side effect. Phantom also became more distrustful of strangers, as he didn't allow his guard down like he did last time. Some time after training Orion Pax on his deduction skills, servo-to-servo combat and how to handle a firearm, Phantom finally deemed him ready to go to the field with him. He was still recovering from his best friend's death though, feeling insecure. Then they met a young sparkling named Sunburst, who was lost, but was looking for their agency to ask for their help on finding her missing sire. Phantom considered it to be a good chance to be Orion's first job, a simple case of a lost creator, and they took it. Little they knew, however, it would turn out to be one of their biggest cases. It led them to confront the mafia boss, Thunderhoof, whom wanted to use Sunburst's sire, a renowned chemist, to create a poison for a terrorist act. Orion and Phantom were able to put a stop to it, placing Thunderhoof behind bars and rescuing Sunburst and her father. The following years, Phantom and Orion worked on more cases, one of them featuring Lunardash, a thief and cat burglar. The detective developed a hatred towards her, especially when she tried to use her charms and seduction on him for manipulation. It didn't affect him, it did work on Orion though, which certainly disappointed him. When Lunardash escaped to Praxus city, the duo followed her trails and met with its local cop, Prowl, who was a rookie at the time, and helped him to get the thief arrested. The three were unawere she would work alongside them when the Great War comes. When the war was in its beginning, Phantom certainly didn't want to join the Decepticons, although the Autobots didn't seem much appealing to him either, that until Orion became Optimus Prime and their leader. Optimus' acts were promising, which convinced Phantom to join his friend on the fight for freedom. It took a while for him to adjust, as he still had his trust issues and poor social skills. Optimus' influence helped him, and he eventually was friends with Balthazar, a young scoundrel, former mercenary, who was Austra's, the Team Genos leader, new disciple.A few eons as an Autobot later, a badly injured Phantom met Arcee of Iacon, a former teacher, whom knew where the nearby medic, Ratchet, was and offered to take him to his location. Despite Optimus' advice to trust others, the detective still felt uneasy with meeting a new bot in such a vulnerable state and acted hostile at first, but Arcee seemed to be genuine, and it was not like he had much of a choice either, as he was leaking more and more Energon, in risk of going into stasis. He complied with her, keeping a few feet apart while she led him. After engaging in a small conversation, they met with Ratchet and parted ways, while the detective having some curiosity about Arcee, which was mutual with her. They began to talk more after the event, both helping each other out when one was in trouble. Finding out, that despite their differences, they had some things in common, and the two became close friends. Phantom even learned some fighting moves from her, having the knowledge of striking certain areas in an opponent in order to paralyze them.Phantom grew fond of her, at the point of developing feelings deeper than friendship, but he never confessed them, since Arcee had a crush on Springer, and he felt that he couldn't be good enough for her. He would only confess to her much later, when the war is over and she's no longer dating Springer, but it's a story for another time.In addition, at some point during the war, Phantom saved Arcee when she was cornered by Flamewar and Airachnid, whom were trying to capture her. After the duo defeated the Decepticon femmes, Flamewar started to go after Phantom too. Gradually stopping to chase after Arcee, Flamewar became obsessed with him, much to his disgust and Jevil's amusement and curiosity later on.During the Great War, Phantom was also able to befriend a few more bots, like Wheeljack and Road Rage. The prior intrigued him with his wild creativity and peculiar personality (ironic), therefore, they understood each other pretty well, often making experiments together, but Phantom didn't enjoy the explosions some of them would lead to. As for the latter, Phantom had some interest on her due to her sense of right and wrong, similarly to his, and the fact she used to be a bounty hunter exclusively for criminals before becoming a bodyguard during the Golden Age. He and Road Rage became close friends as well. However, he didn't expect her to develop a crush on him some years later, and it never becomes mutual. The time when his home city was under Decepticon attack, he was quick to offer himself to be one of the Autobots there to help the civilians evacuate. He reunited and helped Armorfire leave, but found out his mate, Star-Night, was still inside. Armorfire told him he lost her in the crowd and could not find her anywhere. Desperately, he asked his younger brother to find her, and Phantom agreed. The tactician found her after some search, tried to convince her to come with him. She refused, for she didn't want to leave her home, nor to have anything to do with either Autobots or Decepticons. Phantom was willing to bring her to safety with his brother no matter what, so he knocked her out and took her away. Unfortunately, some other civilians shared her ideal, refusing to leave. Before the Autobots could do anything else to take them out of the city, the Decepticons attacked, destroying the building where the remaining civilians were taking refuge, killing them all. Phantom saw everything in horror, feeling deep rage. For a long time, he could still remember the memory vividly, promising himself to make those responsible face justice. When Cybertron reached its limits with the Great War, on the verge of demise, the Autobots planned to leave the planet to find energy elsewhere. Before everyone could enter the Ark, the Decepticons attacked, leaving the Autobots who were already inside without a choice, but launch in a desperate act. In result, a group of their soldiers was left behind, Phantom and Balthazar, now Team Genos commander, being between them. For the next four million years, he fought against the Decepticons alongside the remaining teammates, until Optimus' crew finally made contact with them again.Phantom was more than happy and relieved for the turn of events, but he couldn't stop himself from provoking Optimus about it.After the connection and space bridge being established between the two bases, Phantom chose to stay with Elita's crew on Cybertron, despite feeling tempted to be alongside Optimus, Wheeljack and Balthazar on Earth. However, there are times Phantom goes to Earth when his services are needed, staying there for a time period until his task is over, then coming back. When he's on Earth, he takes the chance to catch up with his friends and know more about the humans, their culture and the planet's nature when he can, as he is a curious mech.Weaknesses/flaws: - His poor social skills and rude demeanor push most bots away from him. - He may have trouble teamworking with Autobots whom he has no familiarity with, that's why he's rather picky. - Trust issues. - Succumbing to anger causes him to get impulsive, therefore, vulnerable. - Since he's always willing to help/save others, it can be turned against him.Likes:Classical music;Crime romance;Solving mysteries;A successful case;Fairness;Arcee;Tranquility;Cello;Experiments;Cleanliness;Writing on his jornal.Dislikes:Treachery;Photos of himself;Interviews;Hysterical bots;Decepticons;Lunardash;Crimes;Crowds;Mess and dirt.Facts: - Phantom has a soft spot for children. - His character was based on Rorschach from Watchmen, Levi Ackerman from Attack on Titan/Shingeki no Kyojin and Sherlock Holmes (2009 movie). - When he gets focused during an analysis, Phantom starts monologuing to himself in order to organize his reasoning. - He often writes about his day and cases on his journal to register his thoughts and the events. - Phantom allows very few bots to touch him. - When feeling worried for or protective of Arcee, he tends to grasp her arm. - He mostly viewed the humans as "fragile pets" before considering them part of the team. - Phantom doesn't like to play chess with Jazz because he always drags on during their matches to provoke him. - Phantom has a crude language, often swearing and cursing. He tones it down when necessary though. - After his last relationship, he considered relationships tiresome and distracting from work, therefore, deemed them unnecessary, that until he met Arcee. - He's very protective of Daniel and Sunburst. Balthazar teases him about being their "father". - He knows how to play a cello.Quotes:"Tsk, dirt...""Yes... We make a great team." (to Corvus)"An organized processor is a strong processor.""I will make you pay... I swear I will make you PAY. THIS IS FOR CORVUS!" (to Jevil)"Don't worry, I won't tell Ariel." (to Orion)"Are you serious? Orion, you have a mate!" (to Orion, who was flustered about Lunardash)"Get your dirty servo off me or I'll cut it with my sword." (to Balthazar)"You ignorant, son of retrorat.""... Whatever.""Many bots don't pay attention to that, but the minor details are always important. They're like small puzzles for a bigger picture, thus reaching the truth." (to Arcee)"Your fisic body. You don't have a heavy armor, but your body indicates you're quite fast and have quick reflexes. You have enough muscle mass that indicates you train quite often. Judging it, I might say... You have been training way before the war. Five eons, I bet. You have the perfect body type for a martial artist." (to Arcee)"Justice will prevail, no matter what.""Now look at ALL this mess! Dirt. Dirt and soot. What a waste." (to Wheeljack, after he caused a fire in the lab)"You can always count on me for anything, I won't be far.""I don't understand what you see on that shallow broad." (to Balthazar, about Sagitta)"So, we have the narcissistic broad and the psycho broad." (about Airachnid and Flamewar, respectively)"You... You're welcome, Arcee. I know you... Would have done the same for me.""You know very well I dislike parties. They are noisy and... And too much crowded." (to Balthazar)"You're Road Rage, aren't you? The former bounty hunter for criminals... Your work intrigued me.""What are you doing here? Who let you in?!" (to Lunardash when she joined the Autobots)"You got me there. Alright, I'm listening." (to Wheeljack)"How come you still fall for that vixen's tricks? You're not a rookie anymore!" (to Optimus, about Lunardash)"Of course I wouldn't forget you, your case was one of my biggest investigations." (to Sunburst)"Optimus would never leave Cybertron behind without a decent reason, he cares for us all. There's only two possibilities for his and the crew's disappearence I can think of: either death or stasis." (to Elita, trying (and failing) to comfort her)"Your existence is a mistake." (to Flamewar)"... Should've figured all it took was a nice pair of legs to get you back on Cybertron." (to Optimus, about Elita, when he finally comes back to Cybertron)"How about we do like this: you tell us what you and the other Decepti-scums are up to, and I don't break your limbs. Sounds quite fair.""Won't you take this game seriously?" (to Jazz as they play chess)"I'm happy for you, Optimus... Elita is a good, decent femme." (after Optimus and Elita finally become bondmates)"You have a good point.""Honestly, Flexa is far better to you. You made a good choice for a mate for once." (to Balthazar)"Hm... No, you make no sense at all.""I just don't want anything bad to happen to Daniel... He's a good kid.""You make me feel things that I never thought I'd feel for anyone ever again... I'm in love with you, Arcee."Theme songs:Discombobulate by Hans Zimmer. So Ist Es Immer by Hiroyuki Sawano.Remembrance by Balmorhea.
Transformers RP Starter SampleMetal. Wires. Gears. Energon. These four essential things were the main compounds that made up a Cybertronians body and gave it physical strength but it was the spark, the very life force of a Transformer itself that gave the metal shell a soul. It had always been such a celebration in the past when Primus would reach down and touch the surface of Cybertron with his servo, the energy from his own spark seeping out to cross vast distances of the plant and bring new life to the metal world. Those of Cybertron would rejoice and praise their creator as they went out to the lands that were now teaming with the life force of a thousand softly glowing sparks. It was always a beautiful sight to behold, like looking out over a meadow full of sparkplug flies. The soft, warm glow of the sparks seemed to bring the best out of everyone on Cybertron as they closely watched over the hearts of their new brethren, only gently collecting the fresh sparks when they had matured. At the time they would then carefully be placed into frames and allowed to set, giving the young spark time to reach out and integrate with its new body. Fuel pumps would activate and the processor would fire up and soon the new Cybertronian would be awake and helped off of the berth by a more senior member of their race. A kind smile and a soft word in their audio were how those who were sparked from Primus had come into the world, but those who were cold forged had a less than pleasant welcome when it was their turn to come online. They were a perversion of nature, an act of sin against Primus himself and only those involved with the deepest levels of the Senate knew how corrupt the forming of forged sparks was. It took the draining of the Matrix, Primus' greatest gift to his people, that gave birth to this new age of cold forged mechs and femmes and while many, such as Nova Prime welcomed these new sparks into the world with great joy, predigest was what most others offered the newcomers. Perhaps it was this neglect and silent hatred† for those cold forged that helped add fuel to the early Decepticon cause but now most of the population was cold forged and it was the easiest way for both sides to gain troops. No one was really sure where these forged Cybertronians were coming from but at the first chance they got both Autobots and Decepticons would snatch them up and convert them to their side to add to their numbers for the war that now raged across Cybertron. Unfortunately the Decepticons seemed to have captured and programmed most of the cold forgers and before the Autobots had a chance to retaliate and get to these new Cybertronians first, the well from which the cold forged had once streamed from had suddenly dried up and vanished. No one on either side knew just why this happened but it was apparent by the traits of the last batch of cold forged that something was wrong with the process. Those who were brought online in the last round of forging all seemed to have either physical or mental defects that lead to them being less than desirable troops. Many either died shortly after coming online, their systems not fully developed due to a weak spark pulse or they perished not long after in battle due to their defects. Most had glitches in their systems that caused them mental grief but some had only a physical handicap to deal with. This was the case of one of the last to be cold forged, a seeker which was a hard type of Cybertronian to create. They were from an ancient glass of transformers and held many odd costumes and even some of those sparks created seemed to somehow develop seeker traits before being placed in a shell. It was energy waves from the spark that helped determine what class of frame they would get and while this little seeker spark burned bright with potential, low supplies had stunted her growth. She was much smaller than a normal seeker and a femme to boot which meant her frame was lighter and even more fragile than a mech would have been in her current state but somehow, be it by the grace of Primus or just dumb luck, the runt seeker had managed to survive not only coming online but a few battles as well.Megatron had stolen the femme and all others who had been sparked around her, their minds easily being programmed to follow the Decepticon cause and while he sent out these defects as distractions and cannon fodder, the small silver and black seeker had made a mark. She was fast, shockingly fast for her petite size and this ability seemed to please the tyrant enough to bring her closer into his fold. True, he already had three speedy seekers under his control but despite their own personal abilities they were almost as slow as a rusted out racer compared to the fast, fluid motions of the runt. If she could be trained properly by a fellow flier than her true potential would easily come to light and thus help carry Megatron even further in his victories. This was why he had brought the femme to his base and why he currently had his second in commander and aerial leader standing before him with his little flock in tow. Deep crimson optics looked out to the three flies who stood before the throne that their leader was resting in. Megatron was certain that the tri color seeker would not be impressed with his decision to bring in another flier but if Starscream valued his helm he would keep his mouth shut and do as he was ordered. "I see you got my request for your presence." The tyrant rumbled as he looked from mech to mech before setting a stern expression on the alpha seeker. "I am glad you came so quickly as I have a surprise for you and your little trine." He purred softly, very much enjoying the uncomfortable feeling he got from the seekers.
