Behind the Scenes:

Beachcomber's words reveal that in 1986 only a few Transformers remained on Earth: where did they go? This will be the subject of another LS epic, but what matters now is that in those months Earth was defenseless against other unusual menaces... like the one described in page 2 of this comic!

The "Decepticon Vanguard Team" is one of Franco's concept, but although the name is new, the characters are all familiar face (more or less: does the name Lensors remind anything?).
The main goal of this name was paying tribute to the classic G1 Marvel UK unofficial teams, like the notorious (?) Survivors.
