NOTES
This page features Bryan's colors. Bryan worked on SoD: Trannis.
In panel 1, from left to right: Solonicum Prime, Nova Prime.
Solonicum Prime was briefly shown in Short Story: The Artifacts.
His use of the Magnificence is related to one of the Cybertronian invasions of Moon Beta.
Nova Prime invaded Moon Beta during Constant Moons: Paradise Lost.
One of his secret goals is finally revealed: he was looking for the Colonizer's Spark Core, in order to expand his ever growing army.
The Golden Age began in SoD: Sentinel Prime and SoD: Omega Supreme (where Nova Prime's secret plans were partially revealed and dismantled).
Kup was an archaeologist, as told in SoD: Jetfire/Grimlock and in Short Story: Remembrances.
The devastation of Cybertron was (partially) told in the flashback sequences of Stormbringer.
The current status of the Interplanetary Cold War is depicted in Stormbringer (again).
What happened in-between the Civil War and the rise of Thunderwing (which ended with the Thunderhead Pass battle)?
The War Within books happened, of course! Also, Wrath Of The Ages and other unpublished stories such as another Quintesson attempt at conquering Cybertron (with Scorponok's unwilling help) and, finally, the battle between Superion and Bruticus (a battle that ended the Gestalt Age).
A Trypticon "prototype" was briefly seen in The War Within vol. 1. His final, working version was shown in The War Within vol. 2: The Dark Ages.
More about who designed and built him will be revealed in SoD: Crest.
Trypticon fought Thunderwing (alongside Omega Supreme) in Stormbringer.
Franco used the Trinary Spark concept in the origins of G1 Trypticon as well: The Lost Seasons: Scrambling Cores.
Peter created the original G1 concepts for Brunt and Full-Tilt.

Awesome rendition of Trypticon.
The most interesting thing, however, is Solonicum Prime's design.
