Chara was looking for a way to end the genocide runs done by Frisk, She talked with Asriel about it, While he didn't fully understand what she was talking about, He was the one to come up with the plan to kill monsters for EXP. Chara wasn't the biggest fan of the idea, As it meant she'd have to betray the trust that monsters have for her. Asriel reassured her that it'd be worth it if it meant stopping the suffering in the long run. The two agreed to begin after they hear a bout a Human in the ruins. Unfortunately Asriel got too close to a monster that Chara attacked, And she killed him along with her target. However after turning to dust, Asriel reawakened as a ghost, However he lost his soul in the process. Curious, He decided to experiment a little, Eventually discovering that not only did he not feel a thing from killing, But that Chara gained the EXP instead of him. The plan changed, Asriel would kill everything in Chara's path, And Chara would take care of the Human, If she were to encounter them.
