About the drawing. Just Shinri sitting in a huge tree and enjoying the view. I don't know how he got up in the tree though. His big wings wouldn't be much use in a forest and I'm not so sure how well he can climb. The trees are new to me. I was really experimenting with almost everything in the background. I actually sort of copied a painter named Bob Ross when doing the trees and mountains. Hope you like it, Autlaw.

Aaah the feeling of getting new art supplies <3 Fresh paper and new pencils, markers and other stuff : D I know the feeling very well !
Such a calming scene! I’d love to sit up there in a huge tree watching a breathtaking landscape as well, though I know I would for the life of it, not be able to climb a tree that high :, D
I love how there’s a hint of yellow light on the tree close to the camera and the trees in the background, it gives off the feeling that it’s a warm day :> *looking outside* We could use some more warm days as well. Since it’s been hailing and raining for quite a long time + even freezing while it’s almost May (,:
Also, I like your pencil coloring work <3 It’s a refreshing sight next to all the digital works I see most of the time here on dA (:
And also respect for drawing Shinri from such a tough angle xD I think his back view is one of the hardest to draw, mostly because of his complicated mane shape and those feathers on his shoulders :, D I think you have drawn him really well from this view!
I can also see how there’s a bit of Bob Ross’s work in there, as he loved these kind of landscapes as well from what I remember :3 I remember when I learned to paint with acrylycs, the first thing I tried out was a landscape similar to this and Ross’s work as well XD
Thank you very much for the drawing my dear ;u; !! And my apologies for the late response, I still kind of am on hiatus but couldn’t stand not replying ;u;
