THE COAST WAY
Auraxian and Imoen were well underway before Tarnesh knew they were gone. Slipping past the gate tailing another group of merchants, shrouded in plain cloaks, he was hoping to slip out of the keep both before his debts to Gallena as well as his trouble with Tarnesh caught up to him. After slipping past the gate guard, the two passed up the merchants as they started down the Coast Way; by midday they had made the obelisk that marked the intersection between the Lion's Way and the Coast Way.
Auraxian stopped there, and looked longingly back down the Lion's Way; in the noon haze it was too distant and obscure to make
Auraxian and Imoen went into the inn, and picked up the keys for their room from Bentley. Once they'd unloaded their sparse belongings and settled in, they went back down to the main floor to get a bite to eat.
Sitting down at a table, Auraxian scanned the room carefully, and soon found him: Tarnesh was seated at a table by himself, in the far corner of the room. He caught Auraxian's eye and flashed an evil grin, and pointing at the young mage.
"There he is again!" hissed Imoen, glancing at Tarnesh. "What did he want? Why is he following us?"
Saying nothing, Auraxian withdrew the crumpled letter from his pocket and slid it across the table
The past few months have been difficult ones: in March, the PSU in my desktop failed and the replacement did the rest, save the hard drive (thankfully) in, and in July my phone decided to get in on the act as well and stop sending and receiving text messages, leaving me with my laptop and a multitude of frustrations. Thankfully, both situations were resolved on the second of September, with a new motherboard, processor and RAM for the desktop and a repaired and fully functional phone.
In celebration of this, I've felt inspired to further flesh out my pet setting of Aelann with a new banner. The last time I was around, I said I hoped to make
Another commission under my belt, once again courtesy of WARLORDsEMPIRE (https://www.deviantart.com/warlordsempire) - a variant of the flag I did for my first commission as well as a striking new design applying the symbolism of Edmond Zevo to a union jack. Further thanks to WARLORDsEMPIRE (https://www.deviantart.com/warlordsempire) for the repeat business!
With Aelann's timeline secured, I feel it is time to move onto the next major project fleshing out the canon: a map of the realm, in addition to even more banners focused on the major noble houses within Aelann, which will expose and showcase even more characters, places and history. Maps, however, are probably my weakest area, as I have the least experience making
Greetings watchers. It's been quiet the past week but I've been plugging away at things. The setting of this fantasy world which the realm of Aelann is in, and which has been inspiring my various heraldic banners for the past month, is part of a larger collection of bits and pieces of written work which I've tinkered with for well over a decade, now, and which has bounced off and intersected with things from games and other things I've played over the years. However, this past week, I decided to make a major step forward in building the canon of it by hammering out a complete timeline of the history of Aelann, from its hazy prehistory and the
Hey are you the one who made the Skyrim Follower commentary mod ? If yes, can you put the mod on the PS4 through Bethesda.Net? I want my followers to feel more social and less like robots. Especially my wife , Lydia.
