So as you may have read on my latest journal, I have a book called The Merciful Crow coming out with Macmillan next year, about a girl from a family of plague doctors who can call magic out of the bones of the dead. Since teeth are the most socially-acceptable form of bones to carry, that's mostly what they use. This was one of the first art pieces I did for the story!
