"You know what I like right now? The current state of my room. It looks semi-clean. There's an illusion that everything in one's place has to look nice, clean, and orderly. That couldn't be further from the truth. The reality is that things look both orderly and chaotic, naturally speaking. Look at the bookshelves in the room and the items they carry. All the books, games, and other paraphernalia I have stacked there are neatly ordered, yes, but slightly tilted and out of place on every shelf. Then there's the scattering of items around my desk, somewhat messy but still orderly. A small pattern of dust across everything, indicative of future dusting off. A mix of colors made bright and clear by the morning sunlight. Everything here has its place but is not so orderly and rigid. It's beautiful. It feels homely, organic.
