Two Worlds Collide: Chapter 49

“Heed my words of warning, brother Astartes! Beware the Twentieth! They are here! The Alpha Legion is here! I repeat, the Alpha Legion is he………...” Whatever else the message said was abruptly stopped by the smashing of a fist upon metal and plastek. The device, a vox-speaker, was transmitting a message out in the open across a small courtyard near the Crystal Palace. Anyone within earshot would have heard the message being spoken by Lord Ahriman of the Fifteenth. That is, until the fist of an armored gauntlet painted in the colors of the Ultramarines destroyed the vox-speaker, smashing it into pieces with a single strike. …………………………………………………………………………………………………………… “They know, then.” Another giant, another Astartes, an Ultramarine, spoke to the one who had just smashed the vox-speaker. That Ultramarine, now revealed to be false, turned to stare at the squad he commanded, his red sergeant’s helmet nodding in response. “Yes, they know.” he replied, drawing a short blade from a hip

Why am I not surprised, California?

Whoever follows me knows that at least one-third of the journals I've posted over the last four years has been all about my home state of California. I live in Southern California, but I love my state in general. What's not to like about it? Near-perfect weather, a vast amount of territory, places to explore...................Laguna Beach, San Diego, Sea World, Balboa Park, the Huntington in Arcadia, Dodgers Stadium, PETCO Park, Golden Gate Bridge, Bay Bridge, Mount Lassen, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, Palm Springs, Mt. Rubidoux, etc etc. (Note how I didn't include Hollywood. That was intentional) Of course, my journals about California are not about its beauty or its attractive locations. My journals are always talking about the progressive, woke, and Democratic INFECTIONS that currently plague my home state. That incompetent fuck Neusom, the rich nepotist playboy himself, has almost ruined my state. So has the moronic state legislature, almost entirely Democrat in its roster, kept on

"You know what I like right now? The current state of my room. It looks semi-clean. There's an illusion that everything in one's place has to look nice, clean, and orderly. That couldn't be further from the truth. The reality is that things look both orderly and chaotic, naturally speaking. Look at the bookshelves in the room and the items they carry. All the books, games, and other paraphernalia I have stacked there are neatly ordered, yes, but slightly tilted and out of place on every shelf. Then there's the scattering of items around my desk, somewhat messy but still orderly. A small pattern of dust across everything, indicative of future dusting off. A mix of colors made bright and clear by the morning sunlight. Everything here has its place but is not so orderly and rigid. It's beautiful. It feels homely, organic. It speaks of a mind that is very open and free when it comes to planning, cleaning, and thinking. It's a mind that doesn't like to follow the rules so closely and

"Think the best way to describe the following is like this: I saw a video about economics, and in the comments section someone typed a very good explanation that near-perfectly coincides with my own beliefs regarding self-indulgence." "He said that in terms of economics and purchasing, a customer doesn't care about cost, quality, availability, or any other serious consideration. All a customer cares about is having what he or she wants. Immediately, without delay, right now." "Constant indulgence. Immediate satisfaction. Total, immersive pleasure." "And all of it at any cost, no matter how ruinous." "That's how I've been for much of my adult life. All the food, sex, games, computers, travel, all of it NOW. Don't care how I get it, don't care what it costs, don't care about nothing except getting and FEEDING IT NOW!" "Even now while writing this I can feel the need, the addiction. It's something I have to keep in chains." "The chains I am both stating and envisioning in my mind are

Nothing important..........just a pair of vids from my top two YouTubers (Styxhexenhammer666 and Razorfist) discussing a specific topic, one which when you listen to it may cause y'all to remember scenes from the following movies.............. The Untouchables. (1987) The Sum of All Fears. (2003) The Negotiator. (1998) Clear and Present Danger. (1994) S.W.A.T. (2003) The International. Something Has Been Lost To Us

Something has been lost to us.You know it, and I know it. Deep within our deepest thoughts, we know it. Within the farthest reaches of our subconscious, we know it. In the hidden corners of our conscious mind, we know it.Something has been lost to us.Something precious. Something beautiful. Something unifying. Something vital.Something has been lost to us.A gift. A trait. An inheritance.Something has been lost to us.A forgotten memory. A deliberately erased history. A intentional destruction of our unknown gift.Something has been lost to us.And in its place.......fabrication, subtlety, manipulation, and ignorance.Something has been lost to...

Why The Truth Is So Unbearable

Truth. A word that brings illumination. A word that brings understanding. A word that brings comprehension. And yet.....we cannot bear the truth.Truth is enlightening, liberating, helping us to see past the veil. Truth is the antithesis of the lie, doing away with fabricated tales designed to keep you blind. Truth needs no honeyed whispers, no promises, and no change to be powerful and illuminating. Truth is its own keeper, and the liberator of us all.And yet........we cannot bear the truth. There are many reasons why..........We have become so used to listening to lies that we have reached the point of denial whenever the truth is revealed....

Man's Enslavement to Himself

Little does man realize................that by establishing himself as the dominant species, that by believing himself superior in whatever capacity, that by thinking that all his ideals are the most perfect, that by claiming the Earth as his own realm to do with as he pleases, that by bringing to heel the other races of man he deems inferior, that by establishing dominance over others, that by usurping power for oneself, that by allowing pain and suffering to reign over us all, that by not listening to others and refusing to hear, that by intentionally denying the truth, that by deluding himself into thinking he is the ultimate being, tha...

Senseless Degeneration

Constant drinking. Compulsive smoking. Extreme drug use. Obsessive interests. Violent tendencies. Excessive narcissism. Overflowing ignorance. Nurturing anger and hatred. Lack of love and compassion. Filling oneself with immorality. Uncaring for others. Complete disregard of ethics. Consumption without end. Deluding oneself into false belief...........................................Senseless degeneration is the one thing they all have in common. And it's unfortunately a flaw that we all bear.terraluna5

Reflection Journal #5 (Work for Sociology class)

Done as homework assignment for my Sociology of Marriage and Family Relationship class, fall semester........... "The unfortunate thing about being an adult is that you have to face many different kinds of adversities and live through them. Even as a child, you're not immune to hardships; children have their own problems to deal with. But adults have to deal with many more problems besides those already stated in the book and in my notes. Perhaps one of the hardest things an adult must come to terms with is that the world- and in turn, reality- is not what it seems. It's not the free and utopian world we once believed to be; it's full of s...

Done as homework assignment for my Sociology of Marriage and Family Relationship class, fall semester........... "This particular chapter was very enlightening as well as reminding of what I had learned in my early years of college regarding economics, as this was one of the main topics spoken in the chapter. Not to mention it was, as my professor put it, quite gloomy and demoralizing. Of course, such information is always like that, depressive and robbing you of the bliss you enjoy. But it's important to know this stuff too. With that said, let us begin.""Perhaps the most interesting topic I read about in the chapter was globalization. I ...

My Bio

I'm very artistic, caring, and spiritual. I especially enjoy science fiction and, believe it or not, I do believe Atlantis was real. But I do believe in a balance between the real and fantasy worlds. I don't believe we should be addicted to anything (except art) Besides loving Sailor Moon and Warhammer 40,000 (specifically the Space Marines), I enjoy Star Wars, House, Star Trek, Indiana Jones, and many other cool genres of film. I also enjoy all kinds of music that take my fancy. I don't listen to heavy metal or death metal or rap. I consider them too primal (no offense to my viewers) I practice yoga and Buddhist meditation and I read much about mythology, conspiracy theory, and Atlantis. I love the mysteries of Atlantis. Could it have been real?

Remember The Honored Dead

0 min read

Happy Memorial Day. I originally was not planning to post anything regarding Memorial Day. I prefer to celebrate certain holidays in private or to be in quiet reflection. If there's one type of person in the world that's loved and hated in equal measure, it's the military veteran. The soldier. Loved and respected by those who believe in high values, liberty, self-protection, and the freedom to choose. Hated and reviled by those who believe that the world is corrupt, distorted, and that soldiers are just the minions and slaves of evil governments. Both sides have their points and arguments to make. Both sides are right and wrong at every level. But I think both sides either don't thank or give cursory thanks to the men and women who served, fought, and died to preserve their nations, culture, and way of life. American military veterans are not the only soldiers in world history to have fought and given their lives for what they believed was right. I can remember the thousands of

Sharing the wealth.

I admit, everything right now looks and feels to be tits up, in the shitter. With politics, conflict, cultural stress, and so many other frustrating events occurring almost on a daily basis, it's understandable that so many of us feel angry, resentful, and want to complain about everything from our politicians to gas being so expensive. I get it. However, it's a roller coaster ride, and it's too late to get off. All we can do- all YOU can do- is hold on and enjoy the ride as best you can. Even here, however, there's brief moments of peace and quiet, and it's here that I offer you this video link. Think of it as a comforting video, one that'll make you happy, but also one that may help you to understand why things and people are the way they are, and maybe even help you discover some things about you that you yourself didn't even know. What better way, then, to show you this video, than to tell you about how important money is? I didn't get it before, and I'm only just starting

A California SHAKEUP!

0 min read

*Not referring to earthquakes, lol* Anyways................... Once more, it's time to talk about my home of California, and it can be tiresome to hear me rant about the state of my home state, plus all the usual political drivel. I know most of y'all don't like politics, but like it or not, politics LIKES us, so best accept to be uneasy bedfellows with politics. This is ESPECIALLY true this year in November, because the governor's race takes place Nov. 3rd. The following words are directed to my fellow deviants who LIVE in California, and are fellow Californians as well as deviantART members. To my fellow Californian deviants: if you are liberal, progressive, socialist, Democrat, or any other group that is not conservative, Republican, MAGA, or otherwise right-wing, best prepare. Because this year might be the year where you'll have no choice but to vote Republican......or Republican. My friends, the DAM IS ABOUT TO BREAK HERE IN CALI. Democrats face the possibility of a

Interesting. However, it's a little hard to get used to seeing stories rendered in AI. Maybe it's because I'm a pre-AI kind of person. I'm a little uncomfortable with AI. Thank you, though, for this.
