Hello there fellow art lovers appreciaters and general do-ers!
ive not been submitting much lately i think ive hit one of those irritating creatve lulls - ive been rather demotivated ... but i think it may have passed - and thats just from browsing DA and generally the web - im a cretin for browsing and collecting inspirational thoughts.

Please can i direct your attention to the comment left on my painting 'Robot'
I have never experienced such an un-provoked attack on a piece of work i have produced but to me that seemed completely uncalled for. Constructive Criticism I completely support, its positive and useful.
I wasnt implying that that piece of work was the most technical id ever produced.
Can i have your thoughts please
have any of you experienced a similar attack on something created by you and what can be done about it?

The teachers I have had always tell me to paint in oils but just like you I get frustrated with the drying and also I have been using acrylics much longer than oils. But you make acrylics look like oils. Like the way you use them is incredible.

Have you tried using oils for portraits? I think you would be really good with them. The work you produce with acrylic is fantastic.
