Swanmay

This is one of my personal favorites. It was created for a "Dragon" magazine cover. That's a magazine devoted to D&D. They'd ask me to illustrate a woman that turns into a black swan and other than that I could handle it the way I wanted to. I enjoy illustrating animals and people as well as ethereal, magical themes so this was enjoyable all the way around.

This was painted using all acrylic and a little bit of collage for the eyes. I like cutting stuff out and sticking it onto things. (I'm a girl after all so I like stickers and scissors.) Besides, why take the time to paint something you can just stick on? *please don't answer this question*
