With a lengh of up to 11 metres, Zhuchengtyrannus is the 3rd biggest Tyranosaurid and one of the biggest meat eaters ever. It lived in China and was described in 2011. This superpredator probably lived together with Tarbosaurus, another tyrannosaurid that was about the same size. Zhuchengtyrannus magnus was a Tyrannosaurine tyrannosaurid, meaning it belongs to the tribus of tyrannosaurids, that were more similar to t rex than to albertosaurus. Here it hunts a small azdharchid pterosaur.
