Description
Dineobellator is a velociraptorine dromaeosaur described in 2020. It is one of very few velociraptorines from North america, specifically from New Mexico.
Its also quite big for a velociraptorine, with 3 metres in length it approaches deinonychus in size.I decided to go for sth different this time, diverging from the common portrayal of dromaeosaurs with just simple tail featers. I got inspired from gamefowl , giving the animal much more elaborate feathers on the neck and especially the tail.
I was always an advocate of different feather arrangements in dromaeosaurs, especially concerning display feathers on tail or other parts of the body, sth you can see in some of my earlier reconstructions of dromaeosaurs from around 2012 or 2013 (even tough these reconstructions are otherwise horribly outdated). The discovery of Ubirajara (tough not a dromaeosaur) certainly validates this theory
Alternative title: Fabio turned dromaeosaur lol

it's no longer considered a velociraptorine dromaeosaur.
