Dilophosaurus wetherilli

Dilophosaurus, famous early jurassic theropod.   Not only did I decide to draw it in colour, but I also gave it some protofeathers/quills. I am not sure if early theropods like dilophosaurus already had feathers so the feathers on this one are speculative. Dilophosaurus was one of the first bigger theropods, around 6 metres long. Its most distinctive feature, apart from the absolutely huge teeth, are the twin crests on the head of the animal which were probably used for display.  I based my dilophosaurus one scott hartmans recent skeletal reconstruciton scotthartman.deviantart.com/ar…

I might have to elongate the legs a little bit tho, they seem rather short on my picture
