Description
Cretoxyrhina is one of the most famous prehistoric sharks. Also known as the ginsu shark, Cretoxyrhina ruled the weastern interior seaway before large mosasaurs like tylosaurus appeared. I didnt even know Cretoxyrhina could grow that large, I always thought it would grow to 6 metres max in length. Cretoxyrhina was apparently a very fast swimmer, there are estimates of it reaching burst speeds of 70 kph, the same as the short fin mako, the fastest shark today!
Next on the list : Edestus!
Edit: Gill position fixed, dorsal fin moved further back
