Selling Tips?
I started selling deviations here on DA over the winter. I have premium downloads and exclusives. Thing is, they just don't sell. I mean, yes, I sell something once in a great while, but I rely on sales here to keep the Core membership on so I CAN sell, but after this month's Core subscription runs out, I won't have any money left on my PayPal card to renew the membership any further and selling for me will be over UNLESS I can sell more deviations. The way it is now, I sell one deviation every two months or so. Now, don't come after me and say it's because I have ai deviations for sale because I see people selling ai deviations ALL THE FREAKING TIME on here. I also have traditional, non-ai pieces that also DO NOT SELL. As a matter of fact, I have NEVER sold any of my traditional deviations AT ALL. As I do more ai stuff they keep getting better and better and a lot of them get very good views, but people just won't buy them. I have even lowered my prices down ridiculously low and they still don't sell. I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong. Like I said, don't say it's because of ai, because there are plenty of ai fans on here running around buying up other people's ai deviations like crazy...just not mine. Any ideas on how I can get people to buy this stuff? Without the sales, I can't keep my Core membership on because I'm between jobs right now and I am NOT going to ask my husband to pay for my Core membership for me. That's not fair to him. Any ideas (and not just chew-outs for having ai. People leaving those kinds of nasty comments will be blocked)? Thanks! P.S. Yes, every time DA puts up a post with selling tips I read it and do what they say to do, but it never works.

For some reason, I can no longer make posts or journal entries on the DA website, but I seem to be able to on the phone app. Weird. Anyway, I have greatly reduced the prices of my premium downloads and exclusives. The older stuff is still the same price, but anything new is only a dollar, so see if there's anything you like. Your support will be greatly appreciated!
*Edit-It finally came back on at 7 tonight, after 11 long days without! Woo hoo!
I apologize for my long absence. As some of you may have heard, northern Michigan, where I live, was hit by a massive, unprecedented ice storm at the end of March which destroyed thousands of trees, power lines and power poles. We’ve been without power for eleven days and counting, meaning I cannot use my laptop (it’s dead) and we have no internet. I will have a lot of catching up to do on the DA Daily Prompts and I know that by now quite a few of them have dropped off the end of the list and I won’t know what they were, so I won’t be able to do them. I also have some new traditional artwork to submit, but I can’t do that from my phone on this very weak cell signal. So, until we get power back, which our power company says is going to be a very long time yet because the entire power grid for this whole section of Michigan has to be rebuilt from scratch, I won’t be able to put up anything new here. I’ll see you all when I’m able to.
