Maxmillian and Mineto Meeting and Planning(Sketch)

Mineto was a shiny Eevee raised by his mother(an Espeon) alone due to his father(a Sylveon) passing away a full month before he was born due to a sickness he obtained at sea(his father was somewhat of a pirate). His mother is a nurse and hardly has time to take care of Mineto due to how busy she is at work. When he was old enough to evolve he chose to be an Umbreon. However, it was soon revealed that he was born with a super rare genetic disorder known as “failed shiny syndrome”(when a shiny Pokémon’s genes fail to convert his/her colors to that of the intended shiny evolution colors), hence why his rings are white instead of blue and his eyes white instead of yellow(yes, he was legit born with his eyes like that, no, he isn’t blind.)

He was constantly bullied for being “abnormally colored” and those who didn’t bully him just ignored him, meaning he had no friends for a huge majority of his life. Even as an Eevee he was bullied for his pure white eyes, but becoming an Umbreon with white rings AND white eyes seemed to make him even more susceptible to being bullied.

He one day applied to work at a warehouse that delivers rare stuff from across the country since he still wanted to help others despite being bullied so often. By the skin of his teeth, he got the job, and for the first 5 days it was pretty normal, he got glared at a couple of times, but it was manageable. But on the 6th day of working at that warehouse, something happened that would change Mineto’s life forever.

That day, at exactly 11:32 AM, a gang who was known for attacking warehouses for plundering their shipments came through and started their raid on the warehouse Mineto worked at. But as everyone was hiding from the gang to avoid getting hurt, one of the workers shoved Mineto out into the open where the gang saw him and dragged him into a nearby alleyway, all while the rest of the workers and even the manager made their escape, not even slightly caring about Mineto’s fate. Having always been bullied during his life, he didn’t even bother fighting back when the gang got him into the alleyway. As they beat him up, he cried helplessly, for he thought he was truly alone, that this was the end for him, that this fate before him was all that would be known left of Mineto Watson…until the swift moves of another Umbreon not only proved his thoughts wrong, but ensured a new fate for him, a fate of friendship, of rivalry, of, for once in his life, purpose.
