Well it will say it is for upholstery instead of for clothing or garments. Try to avoid anything vinyl though - that's just solid plastic and doesn't breathe or flex.
It really depends on your skills and final desired "look"
Faux fur is the easiest to work with, a short pile fur can make a suit loo more slick without looking too fluffy.
Fleece has some stretch and is a decent thickness, so it is more easy to work with than some other fabrics. However it has a tendency to pill, and is more likely to weaken and tear than thicker fabrics - especially at high stress areas like the pits and groin.
Upholstery fabric has no stretch, but you can find some lovely scaled fabrics which give the illusion of scales. It is very hard to work with if you have no sewing skills.
