Elizabeth Martin let out a sigh as she knocked on the door of her neighbor’s house. She glanced back across the street at he own house, thinking that she’d much rather be in her room and chatting with her friends online. However, this was something she needed to do, and besides, it would only take a couple hours.
It had been just a little over a month since Elizabeth had turned sixteen, and she’d been trying to save up the money to buy herself a car. In fact, her original goal had been to buy a car the day she turned sixteen, though it was taking longer to earn the money than she’d expected.
