Following the Grain | Atlas Altera

This map shows the spread of sedentary culture in Altera through the lens of domesticated staple crops. Note the major points of transoceanic contacts. The map was collaboratively produced by u/varjagen, u/Zveiner (deviantart profile) and I for the Atlas Altera project: www.atlasaltera.com. The point of our project is to tell facts through storytelling, because how reality is portrayed often hides the truth. For reference, you can check out the two world maps in my main gallery or take a look at the Q&A in the comments of the posts on Reddit: the main political map and the main chorographical maps.
