Darkness Lies Within...

Part of a collection for a competition entitled "Beyond the Sunset". Each piece will have roughly the same title with a slight change compared to the others, each piece in one way or another revolves around darkness.

This piece however instills that the girl featured in the picture has given/dedicated herself aswell as her soul to the darkness that lies within her. She feels that her 'tattoo' represents a physical manifestation which shows to even though she can't see it (within her and upon her back), it doesn't mean that the darkness isn't a large part of her.
