KAIROS REBUILD

A recent effort in my ongoing quest to answer questions that no one was asking. In this installment: "How did all those cybernetic brain augmentations get in there?"
Answer: Project KAIROS briefly took control of a specialized surgical suite aboard a spaceborne hospital complex. Subjects are suspended in a sterile variably-pressurized liquid which provides a constant flow of oxygen and nutrients to any living tissue within the solution. This allows for a relatively very long work window during highly invasive procedures.
