He sat on the couch, waiting, watching. The thin walls surrounding him masked only the softest of movements from the apartments above, below, and next door. Soon such noises became easy enough to filter out even with a portion of his mind dedicated to cataloging each and every one. Every other part of his mind was focused squarely on the one person he could reasonably assume wasn't anywhere inside the building. Her now-memorized footstep would have been obvious to him, and the fact that he had not heard it in some time consumed his thoughts. No movement on his part kept the time—yet the exact amount of seconds passed between each time that he would look again at the busted door to the apartment. Where was she? Two hours had gone by since she left on the mission he'd tasked her with. That was more than enough time to get to a store, purchase a fresh set of clothing, and return. So why was she still gone? The way he saw it, there were only two explanations for her absence: Either his

How strange it felt to find yourself in a world familiar with going on without you. How strange it felt, even, to sit in a place that belonged to you after Thanos blew to ashes. You had spent many of your days and nights in this very kitchen long ago. Your private floor in the old Avengers Tower—saved from destruction by the untimely Snap—showed very little evidence of your five-year absence beyond that removed when you uprooted to the New Jersey facility of your own accord. Tony's designs specifically for you remained in place; dusty photographs of you with the estranged half of the team remained pinned to the fridge. These little bits of your life you'd chosen to part with were all that remained now of who you once had been. None of it belonged to you anymore—not the photos, not the personal touches, not the life. The ringing silence in the tower made that more obvious than ever. Most of its occupants had either left for home, or, in the case of those that could call this home, were

There was very little that could be said had improved about your situation as the sun set that day over the land of Rohan. The return of Gandalf; the knowledge that Pippin and Merry were as safe as anyone could be; even the fact that you would have a roof over your head that night, provided by King Théoden—all seemed very small in comparison to the storm rising to meet you. Inside the Great Hall, many of the Rohirrim continued to celebrate the return of their king to health. Their people had always been that way. Katniss Everdeen had a lot to think about her first night in the Arena: the bloodbath at the cornucopia, Peeta's location, disobeying Haymitch's orders right out of the gate, how to find water now she'd left the lake behind. Her willow tree felt as safe a place as any available to muse over these matters. Those first minutes after the Panem anthem faded from the wide, dark sky were the first opportunity to think that she'd really had since the opening of the Hunger Games. Free Quarantine Ficlets

Reposted from Quotev Let’s face it: these are some tense times that we are living through right now. Whether you’re self-isolating, under country-wide quarantine, or still pensively attending school or work, you’re probably not having fun. Obviously, there’s not a lot anyone can do right now, but I’d like to do what I can to put a little cheer back in the world. I want to keep minds off worry instead of trying to take advantage of the situation. Of course about the only thing I can do here is...write. But I CAN write. So if you think you’d feel a little cheered up by a ficlet or the like featuring your O

Fandom List Last Updated: 10/22/2017 Hello, hello, and welcome to the slowest moving one shot request booklet in all the land! Whether you are new here or not, I’d love for you to check out the rules below because I’ve changed a lot here. I also periodically add new fandoms to the list, so be sure to check back every so often to see what I might have to offer. Here’s how it works: Step One: Check out the below list of fandoms. Anything here is something I am willing to write for. If there are multiple mediums, I list which mediums I’ve seen the fandom in. Anything marked with an asterisk (*) means I didn’t finish

Not that this is really different from the past few months, but I will be on hiatus for the duration of November 2016 to work on my novel Evelynn Jones: Accidental Supervillain. I will be using NaNoWriMo to bang out a very rough draft of this novel. Fan fiction will resume in December before I start my second rough draft in 2017. Please be aware that sign ups for my one shot request booklet will continue to be open during this time. As always, a list of most of my fandoms can be found here here. Thank you for your patience! I'll get back to things eventually.

Hello ! I would like to request, but do you accept child rezder stories, but with fluff ?
TehStrawHobbyist Writer
I would have to hear a bit more detail about it. I don't mind writing readers as children and fluff would probably be fine. It just depends on the fandom and what kind of fluff we're talking about here.
I like to request female characters x male child reader stories.

But no pedophilia, I swear. I enjoys these kind of svpcenario where the reader is an orphan who is found and raised by the fem characters, and the interactions are limited to hugs and kisses on the cheek.

I've seen you have only a few fandoms, but do you accept original stories ?
TehStrawHobbyist Writer
Sorry, I don't really write original stuff for people. If someone I write for decides to take their fan fiction and stick it somewhere and pretend they wrote it, all they can get is some nice comments or maybe a badge for their profile. If I write original stuff and it gets taken, that could actually net someone money or something--not that I'm that good, but it's more a safety thing. Besides, I'll never know someone's original world as well as they know it, whereas I can look up stuff I don't know about Harry Potter and things like that.
