DENIAL

luke 22:56-57

56 But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him.

57 And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not.

john 21:17

17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

forgive me for all the times i’ve denied You, God. and i thank You for every chance You give to make my life a testimony of You. thank You, that the same eyes that looked upon betrayal of You look with love and forgiveness. help me to accept that You’ve forgiven me and to forgive others as well. thank You, God for dying that we may live. our sin, our betrayal of You made us deserve hell, but You gave us Your love and an opportunity to say “Lord; thou knowest that i love thee.” i pray we all accept it. in Your name Jesus i pray, amen.
