Gosh! You are absolutely awesome. I agree that you should indeed try to write real Disney comics. The folks at Egmont are blind if they don't see the new Don Rosa is standing right in front of them.

Thank you very much!! I'm honored by all your nice comments! Hat off I want to write and draw my own Disney comics but it's hard to get the time when I'm busy with my professional drawing for the Swedish comic "Bamse". But my goal will always be to draw the Disney ducks professionally. I will keep practicing! Have a great day!

PS. I'm sorry for the late reply!

I'm trying to understand why you're not making a comic yourself, my friend.
If I had your own skill in drawing and painting the Ducks this way, I'd truly go whole hog in comic making ^ ^

Hi John! I´m working as a comic artist for the Swedish comic “Bamse – the strongest bear in the world” and my work for Bamse take a lot of my time. Now and then I like to make a Duck drawing just because I love the Disney ducks so much.

I have thought of writing and drawing my own Duck comic but I know that would take a lot of time to complete and I don’t have a lot of spare time at the moment. If I was paid to write and draw Disney comics that would put things in a different light.

I have applied as a Disney artist for Egmont in Copenhagen three times but I haven’t been accepted yet. For one of these applications I wrote and drew my own two page Donald Duck comic. I will show it here on DeviantArt later when I have the time to scan and paint the pages.

That sounds quite interesting :D Looking forward to it and looking forward to having you in the Disney salons soon my friend :D
I mean, you are awesome, and there are some other Duck artists who just...don't have it, so I just don't see why you're not being accepted.

Thank you very much for your encouragement my friend! I think you have to have some luck too – to apply at the right moment when they are in need of new artists. One thing's for sure - I will keep trying to reach my goal!

Just check Don Rosa and how he became a Disney artist. It's all about luck. And your style misses nearly nothing compared to his, my friend :D
Keep it up
