Grandma Duck by TedJohansson Grandma Duck by TedJohansson
Yesterday (September 27) was the 75th anniversary of Grandma Duck! She first appeared as a character in a comic strip written by Bob Karp and drawn by Al Taliaferro where she ends up washing Donald's neck. (September 27, 1943) But she actually appeared as a picture on the wall in a Sunday page three years earlier. (August 11, 1940)

This is a colored version of an inked drawing I did for Grandma's anniversary last year.
